Flooring Installation Tips for Oconomowoc High School

Always on a Mission to Share Flooring Tips

Our Team Member Bronco went to Oconomowoc High School to give a three hour flooring presentation to the Building Trades Class. This presentation showed the basics on how to install flooring – specifically LVP and LVT. The past year these students have worked hard to build mock houses.  They have learned how to undercut jambs, prep, glue, lay down and lastly grout tile. After Bronco’s presentation, the students were able to spend the last week of school finishing the floors to complete their projects.

Learning the Trades

Programs like this are a great way of educating the youth on job opportunities in the building industry. It’s awesome to see the younger youth learning the trade and sparking their interests. Drexel is proud to be a part of schools with programs that educate students interested in the trades.  There is so much demand and opportunity in the market place for skilled flooring installers, builders, framers and more.
