ABOUT THE ROLE

$20.75 for the 6pm-12am shift. NO WEEKENDS. Weds 6-6.

Properly position pre-cut boards on the truss tables according to blueprint specifications.

Ability to lift up to 70lbs & climb up and down from heights between 2.5-3ft repeatedly throughout the day.

Basic Mathematical Skills

Follow Line Leaders’ Instructions

Place metal reinforcement plates over connecting joints.

Swing a hammer to connect parts at joints.

Verify dimensions of precut boards and accuracy of assembly before moving truss to the stacker.

Always maintain a safe and neat work area at all times.

Accurately record job times on the cutting sheets provided and on the timeclock

Work with house plans to verify critical components of the project.

Work with multiple component manufacturers to obtain quotes, place orders & review acknowledgements.

Comfortable with Estimating

Work with multiple account managers & clients to address a variety of needs and concerns.

Ensure that issues are addressed within 48 hours per the Team Blue “48 Hour Solution Resolution.”

Vendor specific installation methods, warranties and service policies/procedures.

High level understanding of basic construction methods.

Understand residential building code as it relates to windows.

Work closely with salesman to maximize each account’s potential.

Explore opportunities to elevate builders to new categories and to make them more profitable.

Work directly with the builder/homeowner during product selections when possible.

Must have a clean driving record for deliveries

Must be comfortable with computer systems

Provide the up-most customer service while unloading building materials ranging from nails to windows!

Convey materials to or from vendor delivery vehicles, storage, work sites, or designated areas using forklift, dolly, and other devices.

Maintain storage areas to ensure inventory is maintained and protected.

Properly comprehend and fill out paperwork including invoices and reports.

Assist customers with loading lumber and other building materials into personal vehicle or home.

Sliding Stock Inventory Away.

Maintain yard inventory by receiving, rotating, and loading correct amounts for deliveries and other customer purchases as well as maintaining correct reports.

Check in delivery tickets.

Be able to communicate effectively one-on-one and with large groups.

Produce individual truss designs and final layouts for the roof or floor system.

Provide engineering support to clients when needed.

We are looking for a person that is able to drive a pickup truck, occasionally pick up heavy things, and make deliveries all over the state. You will travel to multiple jobsites around the area delivery items to our clients.
