Drexel Partnered with Fox Cities Habitat for Humanity for 2016 Blitz Build

Members of Home Builders Association of the Fox Cities have teamed with the Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity and Appleton Habitat ReStore to build a house in five days as part of the Habitat National Home Builders Blitz Week.

This project, led by general contractor Ryan Smith of Headliner Homes and construction manager Brian Calmes of Calmes & Rohm Construction, resulted in a home for the Vang-Her family.

Drexel Building Supply and more than 20 additional HBA Fox Cities’ members and staff raised walls on a three-bedroom, one-bathroom home.

In addition to this project in the Fox Cities, 71 other Habitat affiliates in 31 states across the U.S. are building, renovating and repairing nearly 250 homes this week.
