Matt and I took a spontanious trip to Cambria, WI to go camping at Glacier Valley Campground. We brought the UTV, joined in on some town fun, and enjoyed some relaxing time by the campfire.

My Son’s 12th Birthday celebration- He chose to do an escape room 🙂 So he and I took 3 of his friends and did the Magic Castle in Oshkosh! We escaped with 12 minutes to spare! They did so well working together and we had lots of fun doing it as well!

My father-in-law recently moved to an independent living facility in West Bend to be near us. He moved from Pennsylvania. My daughter is heading to her first semester of college this fall. We are trying to spend as much time with her this Summer before she heads off to school! This is a photo of grandpa and myself out to dinner at a local West Bend restaurant where my daughter works.

We were able to surprise the kids with the Brewers/Dodgers game on 8/13. My boy is a Dodger fan so he was thrilled when they won.

Our family and travel baseball team went to Iowa to play in a baseball tournament at the field of dreams. Our team end up making the championship. Was great family trip getting to experience being on the field of dreams

My girlfriend’s siblings graduated high school and to celebrate i took them on a day trip to the dells where we went to arcades, mini- golfing, and an escape room. We unfortunately did not escape and had to be shamefully let out by the employee.

While on vacation up in St. Germain, WI we took the kids to the zoo and followed that up with treating the whole crew up north with us to pizza at a great local pizza joint called “Heart II”. Awesome time had by all and great local food! Thank you Drexel for the nice gift!

I took my wife, 3 boys, and one of their girlfriends out to the Movies in Oshkosh. We decided on Inside Out 2 and it turned out to be a really good movie.

We spend the weekend up north at our family’s home on the Pike Lake Chain. We like to go into town, Minocqua, to shop and eat out sometimes. We had a great night at the Islander on the lake for dinner. Thank you Drexel for Focus on Family!!

The Konkol Family recently took a vacation to Las Vegas and also visited the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. While in Vegas they had a fun meal at the Hard Rock Cafe and enjoyed some relaxing time together. Thank you Drexel!

On our family vacation this summer to the west coast, we stopped at the best seafood place we could find. Surf and Turf, shrimp, seafood alfredo.

Went to tochi ramen, its a small restaurant in sheboygan. Had a couple of friends visiting from across the country and we had a great time together!

My husband and I recently traveled down to New Smyrna Beach in Florida to see my daughter get engaged. We celebrated at lunch the next day with a seafood tower and drinks!

For 2024 my kids and I committed to doing more outside and one way to do that is GOLF! We had a wonderful time. My daughter’s first time out and my son’s second and they can’t wait to go again. I’m happy to show them a sport that they’ll be able to play for decades!

Went to a Rockin the country festival in Missouri featuring Kid Rock.

This June, we took our kids to Florida for their first time. This was their first time flying and we met up with my parents for a week in Sarasota. This was my mom’s first time to Florida as well! We took advantage of the beach and took a nice boat ride! Thank you Drexel!

My son Gavin and I went up to Lake of the Woods Minnesota for my birthday. The weather was the greatest bit the fishing was.

Our family loves golfing. We decided to take the kids out to a local golf course and have our first golf outing of the year. It was a lot of fun…we won’t tell you our scores!

I have two families. My biological, and my running family. We just spent a week in Boston running the 128th running of the Boston Marathon. It was also my best bud Tom Wetter’s 25th consecutive Boston Marathon. My wife Jaci and I took him out for Dinner to celebrate. There were eight of us that traveled together for this event and had an amazing time!

Every year the family and I travel to a town the size of Amherst in southwest Iowa called Clarinda. Every time we go we eat at the kids favorite restaurant because my son Gary loves steak and my daughter Priyah loves spaghetti. It is our tradition to eat there and shed hunt. The children seem to love it.

We took a Spring Break to Santa Rosa Beach in Florida. Beautiful Beach, great food, and some QT with the fam!

For our Focus on Family 2024, we took the kids for a weekend in Dubuque! They had an absolute blast! We spent two days at the indoor water park and also explored the Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium! Petting the sting rays and anemone was their favorite! With the Opportunity to have the day of my birthday off, I went to do some golfing at the indoor simulator in town, my cousin took a half day of work to join me in celebrating. Golfed well and had lots of fun!

Took Dad out for Birthday dinner. We have been doing this for about 20 years and always try to find a new place to eat. This year was at The Pine Tree Supper Club in New London. Two thumbs up.

We celebrated my 50th birthday recently. I let the kids pick the restaurant and they picked Noodles “because we used to go there when we were little”. A welcome trip down memory lane, and we had the entire place to ourselves! Then back to our house for cake. It was nice having everyone together again.

I took all the kiddos and my girlfriend out to buffalo wild wings for her birthday! It was delicious!

Spent New Year’s Eve with family and friends at the bowling alley in Sheboygan and we were able to cheer on the Packers to a victory!

We had planned on using our focus on family for a night at a hotel with a water park, but we all ended up sick during winter break. Instead, we ordered some of our favorite comfort foods for pickup and enjoyed a nice family night in watching the new Trolls movie!

Took the family to Texas Roadhouse for supper, with the kiddo being home from college . I think y kids could make an entire meal out the rolls with the butter there.

I took my family to see A Christmas Story – the Musical at the Waukesha Civic Center to get us in the holiday spirit!

My oldest daughter and I did a girls day trip with our best friends in Chicago! We went to an outdoor Christmas pop up with ice skating and bumper cars. We also enjoyed some Mexican food at a local restaurant, visited the four story Starbucks, XO Marshmallow Cafe, as well as the biggest Sephora we have ever been in! We had the best weather for a December day in Chicago! Thank you Drexel!

Brought my boyfriend and his family to the Grinch by Warped Dance Company. And watched my daughter perform as a “Who”, it was an amazing show to watch!

My wife and I went to a live broadcast of the Bob and Tom Show that started at 4am It was very funny! and then went to the comedy show later that night. Great date night!

Our oldest son turned 10 last week and wanted to go out for hibachi for his birthday dinner.

I am truly honored to be able to use my Focus on Family in a way that supports and helps one of our dearly loved Drexel Family member as she goes through this incredibly challenging time in her life to fight breast cancer. Sarah Cain has been through so much already over the past couple of years, yet maintains this incredible positive kick A$$ attitude. She is so inspiring. Camping consumes our summer from April-October. So our first weekend at home we decided to enjoy dinner as a family at a near by supper club – Kettle Moraine Supper Club.

The wife and I went to a restaurant called bixenberg in Germantown and enjoyed a wonderful evening with good food and drinks.

Glen and I adventured to Door County for a couple of days of hiking, quality time and finding the best breweries. Our special treat was dinner out at the Boathouse on the Bay and then dancing at Waterfront Mary’s!

I visited Bozeman, Montana to celebrate my sisters Bachelorette party. We went whitewater rafting, visited Yellowstone, and enjoyed lots of tasty food. Bozeman was a city I would visit again. Absolutely beautiful!

A night without the kiddos, so out for dinner with my wife. My wife is an amazing cook so we very rarely go out to eat. We have heard great things about Buck&Honey’s. Enjoyed live music & great food!

Adam and I took our annual fall road trip to West Virginia this time and did the famous Bridge Walk at New River Gorge National Park…851 feet above the river…and I’m terrified of heights!

We had planned to use our focus on family on a haunted cart ride for kids, but it got cancelled due to the weather. So rather than doing nothing we took the crew to the bowling alley for a night of fun. We are far from a family of bowlers, but we all put up our best night of bowling to date. Rather than being let down on the evening, we turned it into something great.

My sister and I attended a Comedy show this past weekend @ the Improv in Brookfield, WI !! Too many laughs to count but creating memories count the most !!

My wife, Jaci and I had the opportunity to go to see Brandi Carlile in concert a few weeks ago. We have been to a few musicals and other theater performances but this was our first concert we shared with each other. It was a great time and even got to share the time with some friends.

A group of friends and I drove to Minot ND for a camping trip to visit with a friend of ours who joined the U.S Air Force after high school and is currently stationed at Minot AFB. We all enjoyed a nice dinner at a local steakhouse on Lake Metigoshe. Thank You Drexel! #TeamBlue

My wife and I fly to Rome,Italy and meet our son there who is Stationed over sea’s. We spent 6 days in Rome and then fly to Santorini, Greece for 7 days
It was awesome to see our son in person, it was just about a year since that happened last. Great time,great weather and great food and drink.

We got to spend the day on the lake with my boyfriend’s bother and his new fiancee . The chain of lakes is one of the best ways to spend a saturday out of the boat! We got to treat them to a dinner which we haven’t been able to do in so long due to everyone’s busy life schedules. It was a saturday that I will remember in my heart forever and cannot wait to tell the stories from this day at their wedding!

Our friends were in town from Denver, so we took them to dinner at Cleveland Pub and sat up on the rooftop area! It was fun to catch up 🙂

My wife and I were able to take my 2 kids to their first ever Packer game and see them kick the Vikings butts!! We did a Lambeau field tour, checked out the hall of fame and the Titletown District. Was a Very Happy New Year’s for us!!

We took a trip to my Home Country – Brazil, and had the best time of our lives. The weather was amazing and we were able to spend a lot of quality time with family and old friends. There are no doubts that Rio de Janeiro is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

My boyfriend Taylor and I had planned on going out for dinner on NYE to celebrate our great 2022, but we quickly learned our lesson to always make reservations on a holiday. So we decided to pick up a tenderloin, potatoes, broccoli, and wine, and made everything at home. The food was great and we had a great time making everything together. Thank you Drexel!

This year for thanksgiving, no one wanted to host our family party, it usually was one of my aunts that would host, but this year i took the family tradition under my reigns and rented out a local park heated lodge for our get together. Not everyone could attend but the turn out was in my eyes was outstanding. We have a pretty big family, and it was nice to have a big enough place to gather. Doing so really made the holidays this year more special and keeping the tradition going of family get togethers is what matters most.

Spent another New Years weekend at a cabin in the north woods with the family. Our family really enjoys supper clubs and we found a great one close by that we had to check out!

Gathering with my sister and her family at my mom and dads home has been a tradition for Christmas since my kids were babies. It gets harder and harder every year as the kids get older. I cherish this time with my parents and kids. This is Christmas dinner with the family. The girls always get creative to fit us all in the picture.

Moments like these are priceless… We are grateful to have another great annual camping trip with our niece and nephew in the books. Each year we experience a different camping style. One of my favorite moments was when we all piled into the cabin after getting rained out of a DJ’d beach party. There she was, our 4 year old niece, dancing in the rain on the porch of our cabin. As long as the DJ was playing, she was dancing… a moment that captured a winning attitude.

Our Giebink Clan was all together so we gathered at the Fox and Hounds for a wonderful holiday meal. 🙂 Thank you, Drexel, for encouraging and helping us to make special family memories!

We rarely dine out. We love to cook in our own kitchen, but when we do dine out we want it to be good. Having both kids home from school for the holidays gives a chance to have good night out for dinner and see some local Christmas lights afterwards.

On Monday, December 19, I bought tickets to the Green Bay Packers game for my friend Tanner and I. We enjoyed watching the Packers win while sharing many laughs and beers. It was a great time.

Took our daughter, Adley, to Urban Air Adventure Park to celebrate her 6th birthday with family and friends!

Our first dinner date since baby Owen was born! Even the babysitter (grandma) got a fish dinner!

My wife and I celebrated her new job that she got for the Point Brewery doing marketing. We got a bunch of Point beer and others to try and sample while we made cookies!

We hosted our family Christmas dinner with the entire family this last weekend. Prime rib and all the fixings. We had a great time together!

We enjoyed a beautiful trip to Florida to help out some new family members and soak up some sun! Thank you Drexel for contributing towards our Happiness!!!

This was a vacation my son Max and I had talked about for a very long time. Max has been a Buffalo Bills fan for as long as I can remember, and having just graduated from UWO this year, the timing was perfect. We had reason for celebration, the Packers were playing the Bills (which only happens every 4 years), so a trip to New York seemed to be the perfect choice.
Our whirlwind trip began with a tour of Manhattan (12 hours, 15 miles and something like 37,000 steps). Luckily we were guided by my adorable niece who has lived in New York for the last 5 years, We saw a lot! Time Square, the 911 memorial, the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, the Highline walkway, Macy’s and so much more!
From there we flew on to Buffalo where we spent the remainder of the vacation tailgating and enjoying the game, visiting Niagara Falls (amazing), eating some of the original “Buffalo Wings” and visiting their botanical gardens. The trip was amazing and I will forever be grateful for sharing those first experiences with my son.

I went to a very nice dinner with my Girlfriend and her parents at Uncle Julio’s. She has always wanted to go and I thought it was a perfect opportunity.

Every year our family goes Black Friday Shopping the day after Thanksgiving at the crack of dawn to the Pleasant Prairie Outlet mall. Our first stop is Bath and Body Works, then we make our way around to the stores we want to hit. Ending the morning our to eat breakfast/lunch. It’s always a fun time, even as my kids are pretty much adults and aren’t the biggest fans of waking up before the sun rises. We also have extended family that comes, some brother and sister in laws and cousins too. It’s a great time to bond with them while we shop.

Ben and I took my brother and his girlfriend to dinner and a comedy show at Improv. We had some time to kill, so we walked over to Sendiks and grabbed a few beers to drink before the show!

Trip to chicago

I surprised my family by taking them out to dinner on my birthday. Because the best gift I could have was being surrounded by my family.

Every year on my son’s birthday we take him to the Shedd Aquarium. He just love the fish.

Spur of the moment decision to purchase concert tickets for FFDP and Brantley Gilbert. We had a great time before, during, and after the show.

Went to Wissota Chophouse with my wife and finally ordered the most expensive steak on the menu. An 18 ounce, 85 day dry aged rib-eye steak, it was amazing!!

This years focus on family was spent with my wife at Rye in Appleton! We just got our first puppy and it was nice to have a few hours to ourselves! Can only imagine what kids bring! Lol.

We hosted thanksgiving for the 2nd time this year with my husband and his family! We supplied the turkey, wine and best part Cheesy potatoes!

Finally put together our first guys golf trip to Pinehurst, NC. This picture was taken on Pinehurst #2, on the 18th Green, which will host the 2024 US Open!

Recently our family attended the Battle of Atlantis to watch the Badger Basketball team. Thanks to Focus on Family we attended the event and was able to purchase memorabilia

My husband and I spent the weekend after Thanksgiving in Land O’ Lakes, at his parents’ cabin. We enjoyed lots of quality time together. I chose to use Drexel’s generosity for an afternoon at the pub for the Badger game, followed by a yummy dinner!

My brother and his wife who live in Michigan came to visit me in Milwaukee for the first time, I decided to treat them to the best cajun food Milwaukee has to offer at Maxies.

I am very thankful my family and I had the opportunity to make our family’s Italian sausage over thanksgiving weekend.

My wife Lynn and I took her parents to the Shalom Wildlife Zoo to celebrate their birthdays. We had a picnic lunch at the park and they loved seeing the animals while being able to use a golf cart to go through the park.

Was able to drop off the children at an event at dance studio where the girls do ballet, and was able to have a nice night out and dinner with the wife!

I had the day off for my birthday on 11/08. My wife and I had lunch (and beer of course) at Copper State Brewing. We loved the food and beer so much we spent over $100 on some merch!

Took the kids to an indoor water park for the first time. A great time was had by all- thank you Drexel!

MY GIRLFRIEND AND I, LINDSEY, WENT TO DISNEY WORLD OVER HALLOWEEN FOR 5 DAYS AND GOT TO EXPLORE THE WORLD OF DISNEY! WE WENT TO DINNER AT BELLE & THE BEAST’S CASTLE! THE FOOD WAS AMAZING AND THE ATMOSPHERE MADE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU WERE IN A MOVIE! INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE THE BOTH OF US GOT TO SHARE!

Stacey and I took the kids to Glow in the Park for indoor mini golf. Then we stopped for pizza at Paddys Pizza and ice cream at Kelleys Country Creamery .

Spent a sunny day golfing with some friends and ended the day with a nice dinner.

My Wife and I took a long weekend to Chippewa Falls for our anniversary. We went and toured the Leinenkugels Brewery. It was a great tour with lots of history in a nice town.

This year’s Focus On Family was used to celebrate my daughter Leighton’s Baptism. It was a great afternoon spent with our families and friends celebrating a very special day in my daughter’s life. Thank you to Drexel for helping with the bill for Pizza and Drinks! We all had a blast together!

I took my Dad and Sister out golfing for the first time in a few years and it was nice to get to spend some quality time with them! Thank you Drexel!

I took my son to the Glacier National Park in Montana and one day we went white water rafting. It ended up being his favorite part of the trip!

My Wife, 2 daughters, my niece and I went to the Deyoung Family Zoo! It was immensely fun since they have alot of opportunities for hands on animal interactions. Which the children really liked….I personally enjoyed the wolf pup we got to hold!

We went on a family trip to Disney for my daughter’s 5th birthday! Fun times!

Decided to take a weekend getaway to Bloomington and push ourselves outside of our comfort zone at Vertical Endeavors. Took my hubs, sister, and good friend (who helped teach us some climbing tips). So much fun (and so scary haha).

We took Harvey and the family to the Mallards game for his 8th birthday! we all had a blast and enjoyed the beautiful day together!

Eli and I went to Anna Maria Island and did a Dolphins & Drinks cruise. So much fun. Our guide, Theresa, let me call her T-Rex the whole time and we met a bunch of people from Boston!

My son and I went on a last minute fishing trip to Lake of the Woods in Northern Minnesota. We each caught dandy walleyes and a bunch of eaters as well. We hope to do this every year now.
