I wish to thank each and every one of you for your generosity and warmth. Please do not misconstrue my belated thank you card to as in any way minimize my utmost appreciation for your kindness. Due to my own fault I was grossly unprepared to speak with you, I feel I rather failed miserable. I apologize for that but wish to thank you also for making me feel at ease. Now I look back at the burglary not as a bad day but rather a footnote to a rather excellent day at Drexel where I saw firsthand the best compassion and empathy of a fellow man. It was completely unexpected and unsolicited though joyously received. I’m currently home alone so I cannot get to a quote that I think would be very appropriate for a next Friday meeting however I would like to offer you this quote I remember from my bathroom wall when I was a child.
