Joel,

I went to Drexel Kiel with my step-son Andrew to pick up the building supplies you so graciously donated for his Eagle project today. Once again, I was overwhelmed with the thoroughness, professionalism and flawless customer service displayed by both your leader Steve Tillman and the yard associate who assisted us (Paul Petrie) .

Steve’s “just get it done right and quickly” with a smooth delivery is extremely refreshing. Wow! Bright guy with great delivery.

And how you take a 12 year meat cutter from an adversarial union environment on the south side of Sheboygan and turn him into such an effective advocate of superior customer service and Drexel is beyond me. I could have talked to Paul about margins, demographics, and how to treat people all day. He has only been there since December, but displays an attitude that he loves serving people and Drexel. Very cool!

The yard and store were clearly organized, spotless, customer friendly, and full of positive energy. Damn, you are good!

In the 5 minutes I was in the store I observed that your kitchen cabinet department was full of activity with your staff consulting with customers asking such questions as “do you use your kitchen to do a lot of cooking?….” You go Girl!

I was also grateful to find your posting that displayed the American flag announcing that Drexel will be closed to honor our fallen veterans on Memorial Day!
