Richardson Industries sells Lumber Division

Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin (January 22, 2014) – Richardson Industries, Inc. and Drexel Building Supply announced Wednesday that they have agreed to terms of an inventory sale and lease agreement for the former Richardson Lumber Company. As part of the agreement, a Drexel Design Studio will operate in the former Richardson Design Center.

Both Drexel President and Owner Joel Fleischman and Richardson Industries CEO Gary Kane feel this strategic move allows their individual companies to build on their respective core competencies.  The business decision allows Richardson Industries, Inc. to better focus their time and resources on the expansion of two manufacturing divisions: Richco Structures and Richardson Yacht Interiors.

Drexel’s Kiel location will continue to make daily deliveries to the Sheboygan Falls area to serve industrial companies, farmers, builders, remodelers and DIY clients. As a customer focused and community minded company, Drexel looks forward to expanding into the Sheboygan Falls market.
