Kiel Area Contractors Lend a Hand

These times have hit most of us hard. Local food pantries have seen an increase in need and a decrease in supplies and donation. Recently, our own Kiel Building Supply hosted their annual contractor’s appreciation banquet at Millhome Supper Club. As with most banquets, door prizes were given and a 50/50 raffle drew many interested in getting a little extra cash. It was a raffle with a twist. With the proceeds of the 50/50 raffle, Steve Thielman, Kiel Building Supply (KBS) store leader decided that KBS would take their half of the raffle and donate the proceeds to the Kiel & New Holstein Food Pantry. That night Kiel Building Supply and area contractors raised $575. The Fleischman family, who own Kiel Building Supply, then matched that donation, making the total donation $1,150 to the local pantries. The monies will be used to fill the pantry shelves with the most popular items. Kiel Building Supply encourages the community to support your area local contractors.
