Drexel Prizes $20,000 Gift Card to the Winner of Milwaukee’s Worst Kitchen Contest!

Over the past two months, Greater Milwaukee residents had a chance to submit their kitchen to www.milwaukeesworstkitchen.com for a chance to be crowned Milwaukee’s Worst Kitchen and win a $20,000 gift card to Drexel Inc. Over 100 kitchens were submitted. The public then had eleven days to view the photos, read the essays, and vote for the kitchen they thought was the worst of all the submissions. On November 2nd, after over 250,000 votes, Drexel officially crowned the winners!
Colleen and John Zeidler, along with their 5 month old Daughter Anna, from Wauwatosa walked away with a the title “Milwaukee’s Worst Kitchen” with their self-named kitchen the “A-Z Worst Kitchen”. When asked where and how they were going to start their remodel project, Colleen Zeidler’s first reaction was to say “gut our current kitchen and completely start over.” Drexel Inc, located on Bluemound Road in Brookfield, provided the winners with a $20,000 Drexel Gift Card in order to jump start making their WORST kitchen into a NEW Kitchen. The Zeidler family will be working with a Drexel Cabinetry Designer to update their kitchen with Dura Supreme Cabinetry, Corian Countertops, Robina Hard Wood Floors and other top of the line materials supplied by Drexel.
“The contest was an amazing success as we saw votes for all the kitchens coming in from across the state, and across the country” commented Stacey Stoffel, Marketing Director for Drexel. “Along with the $20,000 Gift card for the winners, we also issued four $500 gift cards to the runners up of the contest.
